He was born on January 7, 1974, in Galati, Galati County.

He graduated from high school in 1992, and between 1993-1997, he attended the courses of the Military Institute of Infantry, Border Guards and Chemistry "Nicolae Bălcescu", from Sibiu in industrial chemical weapons, military specialty.

After graduating from the Military Institute of Infantry, Border Guards and Chemistry "Nicolae Bălcescu", he worked as a platoon commander in the CP. 585 Fr. NBC within SMFN, of the subunits of the 10th Genius Brigade, at the 285th Artillery Battalion “Vlaicu Vodă” and within the Company292 Ap.NBC of the 282nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade “Union of Principalities”.

In the period 2008 - 2016, he performed the following functions within the 300th Mechanized Infantry Battalion “Saint Andrew” of the 282nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade “Union of Principalities”:
- official within the S.3 - Operations and Instruction department (2007 - 2012);
- specialist officer / occupational safety and health, environmental protection, technical supervision, legal metrology (2012 - 2014);
- chief of staff (2015 - 2016).

Between 2016 and 2019, he held the position of deputy commander and steward of the unit at Sector 319 Mixed Galaţi. Starting with 01.01.2020, he fulfills the position of commander of Sector 319 Mixed Galaţi.

Multinational exercises and missions in theaters of operations: - November 2011 - June 2012 participated in the mission "ISAF III" - 1st Maneuver Battalion, in the theater of operations in Afghanistan.

- In 2012 he participated in the multinational exercise "SABER JUNCTION 012" - Germany;

- In 2013 he participated in the exercise "STEADFAST JAZZ 2013" - Poland.

In the more than 20 years of activity, he perfected his professional training by graduating the following career and level courses, such as: Advanced course for NBC Defense Officers at the "School of Application for Military Chemistry" - 2004, Staff Course for CBRN Defense officers at the Training Center for Genius, EOD and CBRN Defense "Panait Donici" - 2011, Training course inspector in the field of occupational safety - OSH at the Training Center for Genius, EOD and CBRN Defense "Panait Donici" - 2014 , Postgraduate training and professional development program - logistical support at the National Defense University "CAROL I" - 2019.

As a sign of appreciation, for the proven professionalism and for the remarkable results obtained throughout his career, he was awarded the following orders and medals: Badge "Participant in Missions Abroad", NATO Medal 5, Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Fatherland" for 15 years of activity; The title of Veteran and the Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Fatherland" for 20 years of activity.

He is married to Rodica and together they have a son, Andrei.
