Command the 150^th Missile Fast Patrol Boat Squadron

Captain(N) Cristian BOAGHE

He was born on Octomber 13th , 1974 in Voineasa, Valcea county.

He graduated from Naval Military High School “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” from Constanta city in 1993, and between 1993-1998 he followed the courses of the “Mircea cel Bătrân” Naval Academy. After his graduation from the naval Academy he was appointed as artillery and missile officer onboard of Fast Patrol Boat no 194 from the fast Missile Fast Patrol Boat Squadron.

Betwwen 2001 and 2006 he was appointed in successive positions within the 150th Missile Fast Patrol Boat Squadron, such as, artillery and missile officer on board of Fast Patrol Boat no 189 and staff officer in operation branch of 150th Missile Fast Patrol Boat Squadron Headquarter.

From 2006-2012 he was appointed as training officer of Training, Simulation and Evaluation Centre for Navy.

In 2014, he graduated from Command College at Carol I National University followed an appointment as chief of maritime surveillance branch of 243 Radioelectronic and Observation Brigade.

Between 2015 and 2017 he was assigned as operation officer to Romanian Fleet Command in Constanta followed by and assignment as Chief of Staff to 150th Missile Fast Patrol Boat Squadron.

From july 2021 he was authorized to command the 150^th Missile Fast Patrol Boat Squadron.

Throughout his career he has participated in NATO/PfP international exercise and regional initiatives such as COOPERATIVE PARTENER, COOPERATIVE MAKO, BREEZE CERTEX, BLACKSEAFOR.

His awarded included the Romanian Navy Emblem of Honor, the Honorific Insignia “Service in the Armed Forces” for his 15 and 20 years in service and Romanian Military Emblem of Excellence 2nd class.
