Fănel ENE

Master Chief Petty Officer Fănel ENE has been serving to the position of Master Chief Petty Officer of the Mihail Kogălniceanu" Riverine Flotilla Headquarter on July 1st, 2023.

He graduated from the Agroindustrial High School of Însurăței in 1991 and the the "Amiral Ion Murgescu" Military School of Navy Petty Officers in Constanța, Radiolocation Specialty in 1994.

After graduating from the military school, he was assigned to the position of commander of the radar group on board the Torpedo Boat 69, part of the 84th Torpedo Boat Division. Between 1995 and 2010, he served as a communications specialist on board the Monitor 47 Lascăr Catargiu of the 67th Riverine Gunboat Squadron „Comandor Virgil Alexandru Dragalina”. From 2010 to 2015 he served in the same unit. Since 2016 he has been assigned as staff petty officer in the communications office of the „Mihail Kogălniceanu” Riverine Flotilla Headquarter.

During his career he improved his professional training by completing courses such as: RF 5800 H and RF 5800 M radio station operator training course (2002), Computers skills course (2002), naval communications structures training course (2004).

In recognition of his outstanding contribution and effective fulfillment of assigned missions, as well as his demonstrated professionalism and responsibility, he has been awarded the following national decorations and honorary titles: Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Country" for 15 years of service (2009); Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Country" for 20 years of service (2014); Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Country" for 25 years of service (2019), "Maritime Virtue" Medal Class III (2013), Emblem of Merit "In the Service of the Romanian Military" Class II (2017), "Maritime Virtue" Medal Class II (2019), Honorary Title of Veteran (2021), Naval Forces Honorary Emblem (2022); Communication and IT Honorary Emblem (2023).

Master Chief Petty Officer Fănel ENE was born on December 2, 1972, in the town of Însurăței, Brăila County.

He is married and has one child.

He speaks English fluently.
