Historical overview


The 338th Naval Equipment Maintenance Center was established on January 1st, 1982, through an order from the General Staff, initially named 338 Naval Combat Repair Base. On May 1st, 2005, 338 Naval Equipment Maintenance Center came under the command of the Naval Base Headquarters. Then, on June 1st, 2010, the 338 Naval Equipment Maintenance Center came under the command of the Logistics Naval Base.

The 338 Naval Equipment Maintenance Center performs intermediate and complex level maintenance for the ships and equipment of the Naval Forces. It carries out repairs, installation works, and commissioning of combat equipment on board the ships, as well as the equipment of the land-based unit and military equipment of the units and major naval units within the structure of the Naval Forces.
