He was born on August 8, 1977, in Constanţa.

After graduating from the "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy in 2000, he performed the duties of commander of the radio electronic combat and observation service at the large torpedo boat 210.

The functions at the base of the career were those of the commander of the torpedo boat on the wings 324 and the commander of the radio-electronic combat and observation service on the training ship and logistic support "Constanța" - 281.

In the 2008-2017 period, he performed several functions, among which we mention cart officer on the frigate "Queen Maria" - 222, with which he participated in the NATO operation "Active Endeavor" in 2008, second officer of the training ship and support logistics "Constanța" - 281, commander missile carrier "Pescăruşul" - 189.

In 2017, he was appointed second in command of the frigate "King Ferdinand", participating in the NATO operation "Sea Guardian" in 2017, 2018, 2019.

In the 2021-2023 period, he held the position of head of planning in the Command of the Naval Component "Vice Admiral Ioan GEORGESCU".

In the more than 20 years of activity, he perfected his professional training by graduating from the master's degree in interarm leadership from the "Carol I" National Defense University in 2016 and the Naval Command College (NCC - Naval Command College) in the United States of America in the year 2023.

Starting with the dates of July 15, 2023, he fulfills the duties of commander of the Frigate "King Ferdinand".

He speaks English fluently.
