The missile boats are intended to carry out the fight independently or in cooperation with other assets (aviation, artillery and/or missile-carrying ships, coastal antiship missiles systems, and in some cases artillery and land forces) against hostile/enemy surface targets (surface warships, transport/amphibious ships and/or enemy landing crafts).
