Master Chief Petty Officer – of the Naval Logistics Base “PONTICA” Command

Master Chief Petty Officer Florin-Cristian LUCA

Master Chief Petty Officer Florin-Cristian LUCA was born on January 30, 1972, in Tulcea municipality, Tulcea county.

He graduated from Industrial High School No. 5 Tulcea in 1990, then attended the “Amiral Ion Murgescu” Military School of Navy Petty Officers Constanța, specialty – Naval and Anti-Aircraft Artillery (1990-1993). During the period 2004-2008 he attended the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the “Andrei Șaguna” University of Constanța, having a degree in economics.

Professional skills were deepened by completing and completing advanced training courses in naval artillery (2000), basic (2002) and advanced (2005) English courses, the course for first-class naval foremen (2006), the mid-level course in occupational health and safety (2010), the specialization course for technical staff with responsibilities in the field of fire prevention and extinguishing (2012), the course for the position of advisor to the commander (2016).

After graduating from the "Admiral Ion Murgescu" Military School of Navy Petty Officers Constanța, he successively held the following positions:
1993 - 1st Weapons Group Specialist at the 77th River Armored Patrol Gunboat, Tulcea;
1995 - Chief Weapons Group Specialist at the 94th Riverine Armored Patrol Boat, Tulcea;
2000 - Weapons Group Commander at the 84th River Armored Patrol Gunboat, Tulcea;
2004 - Weapons Group Commander, Artillery Combat Service to 29 Minesweeper of the 146th MCM Squadron, Constanța;
2006 - Staff Master Chief Level 2 in the Frigates Office at N4-Logistics of the of the Naval Logistics Base Command Constanța;
2009 - Staff Master Chief Level 2 at the Helicopters Department of N4-Logistics of the of the Naval Logistics Base Command Constanța;
2010 - Staff Master Chief Level 1 at the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Technical Supervision and Legal Metrology and with Fire Protection at the Command Team of the Naval Logistics Base Command in Constanta;
2014 - Staff Master Chief Level 1 (and with Fire Protection) in the Command Team of the Naval Logistics Base Command in Constanta.

On March 1, 2015, he was appointed advisor to the commander for issues of military foremen, non-commissioned officers, soldiers and professional ranks in the command team of the Naval Logistics Base "PONTICA" Command Constanta.

Starting with January 1, 2016, he is the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Naval Logistics Base "PONTICA" Command Constanta.

In appreciation for his special contribution and the efficient manner of successfully fulfilling the entrusted missions, as well as for the professionalism and responsibility proven in his work, he was awarded the following distinctions: Emblem of Merit "In the Service of the Romanian Army" 3rd class (2022), Emblem of Honor of the Naval Forces (2019), Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Fatherland" for 25 years of activity (2018), Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Fatherland" for 20 years of activity (2013), Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Fatherland" for 15 years of activity (2008).

He is married and has two children.
